Sysco Oklahoma Settles EEOC Disability Discrimination Suit

Sysco Oklahoma LLC will pay $82,000 and give other relief to settle a disability discrimination lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Sysco subjected an employee with a disability who had parked in a handicap parking space to unlawful medical inquiries, demands and then fired her based on her disability. It is a violation of the [Americans with Disabilities Act][1] to harass or fire an employee because of a disability.
