Report Examines Restraint Related Deaths for People with Disabilities

Equip for Equality's report, _National Review of Restraint Related Deaths of Children and Adults with Disabilities: The Lethal Consequences of Restraint_, was a collaboration with the National Disabilities Right Network, and medical nursing and forensic experts. Indepth details show that of 82 percent of the 61 deaths of children and adults (ages 9 to 95) in this study, were due to the use of restraints. This link opens a PDF document.
