The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has charged Jim Robinson Ford-Lincoln-Mercury with unlawfully refusing to accommodate the disability of a salesperson. The employee has a leg condition that affects his ability to walk and he was denied a reasonable accommodation and then fired. Under the [Americans with Disabilities Act][1], employers must provide reasonable accommodations to an employee with a disability, unless it causes significant difficulty or expense for the employer.
