The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has sued Midwest ISO for not providing reasonable accommodations to an employee and then firing her because of a disability. The company refused the employee's request for a leave of absence to help her handle post-pregnancy depression. Under the [Americans with Disabilities Act][1], employers must provide reasonable accommodations to an employee with a disability, unless it causes significant difficulty or expense for the employer.
