AIM Commission Releases Report on Postsecondary Learning Materials for Students with Disabilities
The Advisory Commission on Accessible Instructional Materials (AIM) in Postsecondary Education for Students with Disabilities has released its final [report][1]. The Commission studied accessible materials for students with disabilities and made recommendations for improving the availability of instructional materials in accessible formats. Recommendations included creating guidelines for AIM that will be used by government, the private sector and postsecondary schools. They also recommend having incentives to speed up the development of new accessible features from publishers and producers of course materials.
