White House Announces Government & Private Businesses Commitments to Provide Employment Opportunities for Nearly 180, 000 Youth
The White House has released a new call to action, **_[Summer Jobs+][1]_**, for businesses, nonprofits and the government to help youth who are not in school or employed, or who have low-incomes get jobs in the summer of 2012. The Administration will also launch **_Summer Jobs+ Bank_**, a one-stop online search tool for youth to access job postings by participating employers. Commitments from for summer opportunities for youth have come from the American Association of People with Disabilities, Bender Consulting Services, Inc., Easter Seals and General Dynamics C4 Systems.
