Secretary of Labor & OPM Director Provide Guidance to Federal Agencies on Increasing Federal Employment of People with Disabilities
U.S. Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis and the Director of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), John Berry, have sent a letter to the heads of federal departments and agencies reminding them of their roles in implementing [Executive Order 13548, Increasing Federal Employment of Individuals with Disabilities][1]. The letter describes several tools that can be used by federal departments and agencies to recruit and hire qualified individuals with disabilities into the federal workforce. These resources include [eFedLink.org][2], the [Workforce Recruitment Program][3] and the shared list of people with disabilities hosted on the [MAX Federal Community][4].
