The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has charged RCC Consultants, Inc. with violating federal law when it refused to hire an individual because of his vision disorder. The company offered the individual a job, but took back the offer when they learned that he did not have a driver's license due to his disability. [Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act][1] prohibits employers from discriminating against qualified individuals with disabilities in hiring, firing, promotions, salary, and other terms, conditions, and privileges of employment.
