Funding Opportunity: Effective Communication Before, During & After Emergencies - Pre-Application Deadline February 8

The National Council on Disability (NCD) is funding a research study on evaluating communication for Americans with disabilities before, during and after emergencies. The research must cover effective communication throughout all phases of emergency management (preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation) and be fully accessible to all people with disabilities. It should cover cross-disability and must include what is occurring in emergency management on the national and state level. The NCD will be distributing a Notice of Funding Opportunity to those interested on **February 8, 2012**. Responses are due **March 7, 2012**.
