U.S. Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Church in Disability Employment Discrimination Case

In an opinion titled _Hosanna-Tabor Evangelical Lutheran Church and School v. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission_, the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that employees of a church cannot sue for employment discrimination. A teacher, who was a commissioned minister at a Lutheran School, was asked to resign after taking a leave of absence due to a disability. The teacher had filed a disability discrimination claim with the EEOC under the [Americans with Disabilities Act][1].
