National Council on Disability (NCD) Releases Annual Progress Report

The [NCD][1] has released _National Disability Policy: A Progress Report_. The report shows that the current economic downturn is having a serious negative impact on people with disabilities, and is causing a decline in many aspects of their quality of life. NCD also identified recent policies that will help to improve the lives of people with disabilities, such as the [Affordable Care Act][2] and the [Executive Order][3] to increase hiring of people with disabilities in federal jobs.
