The National Council on Disability (NCD) has released its latest report, _["Exploring New Paradigms for the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act."][1]_ The report calls for more unified federal policies to implement the [DD Act][2] and to provide individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with needed information, skills and opportunities so that they can have fully participate in their communities. The recommendations are based on the latest developments, challenges and achievements of the DD Act since its last reauthorization in 2000.
