U.S. Autism Rates Reach New High According to CDC Report

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has released a [report][1] that shows that about one in 88 children in the United States has [autism][2] or a related disorder. The estimate represents an overall increase of about 25 percent since the last anaylsis in 2006 and almost twice the rate reported in 2002. It surveyed children aged 8 years who were living in the United States during 2008.
