Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) Launches Timeline of Its Achievements

The U.S. Department of Labor's ODEP has launched a timeline to highlight its achievements over the past decade. Congress established the office in 2001 to create a focus on disability and employment policy. Since then ODEP has worked to remove barriers to employment for people with disabilities. This effort has shifted attention away from asking whether people with disabilities are able to work, to creating effective strategies so that they can work.
