Celadon Sued by EEOC for Disability Discrimination

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has charged Celadon, Inc. with violating the [Americans with Disabilities Act][1] (ADA) for making job applicants take medical examinations and failing to hire qualified applicants due to disabilities or because they thought they had disabilities. The ADA prohibits employers from making applicants take medical examinations before making a conditional offer of employment, and also prohibits discrimination based on disability or what someone thinks is a disability.
