USDA Awards 23 AgrAbility Grants to Expand Access to Farming for Americans with Disabilities

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has awarded 23 grants to organizations to help thousands of people with disabilities continue in agricultural careers. The awards, totaling $4.1 million, were awarded through USDA's [AgrAbility][1] program. The program provides farmers with disabilities the tools and training to continue farming. The funding is awarded to land-grant universities that partner with nonprofit disability organizations to work with farmers and ranchers with disabilities. Projects include educating professionals to help and train agricultural workers with disabilities.
