Emergency Access Advisory Committee (EAAC) to Sponsor Exhibition Fair on Text to 9-1-1 Mobile Solutions - March 28 & 29

The EAAC will sponsor an Exhibition Fair of "text-to-9-1-1" mobile solutions on **March 28 - 29, 2012** in Washington, DC. The EAAC decides on the most effective and efficient technologies and ways to give individuals with disabilities access to [**Next Generation 911**][1] (NG911) emergency services. The EAAC is recommending that "text-to-911" mobile solutions be used to provide nationwide access to 9-1-1 services to people with disabilities during the move to NG911. The fair will feature exhibits and/or demonstrations by the public of existing and potential text-to-911 technologies and applications.
