Tyson Foods Settles EEOC Disability Discrimination Lawsuit

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has charged Tyson Foods, Inc. with violating the [Americans with Disabilities Act][1] when it refused to hire a former employee because he had epilepsy. Tyson will pay $35,000 to the former employee and has begun a new medical assessment procedure.
