Medicare Advantage costs have lowered by 7 percent on average and enrollment has risen by about 10 percent since this time last year. U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius credits the [Affordable Care Act][1] with providing new tools to make sure that seniors and people with disabilities are getting the best value out of their coverage. Not only is enrollment up and costs down, but there are 26 Medicare Advantage plans to choose from in nearly every county across the country.
