Personal Touch Home Care of Ohio to Pay $35, 000 to Settle EEOC Disability Discrimination Suit

Personal Touch Home Care will settle a disability discrimination lawsuit with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) after violating the [Americans with Disabilities Act][1] (ADA) for firing an employee because of her disabilities. The long-term employee, who has renal failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and asthma had no problems performing her job. It violates the ADA to discriminate against an employee based on a physical impairment.
