Provides disaster assistance to people whose property was damaged or destroyed in a natural disaster. Money and direct assistance are available to individuals, families and businesses to help with critical expenses that are not covered by insurance. Funds for housing assistance are available through the Individuals and Households Program. Most assistance is in the form of loans through the Small Business Administration.
