OPM Issues Regulations Making It Easier for Students & Recent Grads to Get Federal Jobs

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has released final [regulations][1] that will make it easier for students and recent graduates, including Veterans and people with disabilities, to get federal jobs. The regulations implement President Barack Obama's [Executive Order 13562][2], which streamlines the process for getting federal internships and careers in federal service. The [Pathways Programs][3] includes an Internship Program, Recent Graduates Program and the Presidential Management Fellows Program. The regulations become effective on **July 10, 2012**.
