The National Council on Disability (NCD) is requesting proposals for a project to analyze options for Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income reform. Given the importance of these benefits for people with disabilities and the threat to the future of the Social Security Trust Fund, reforms are needed. The NCD would like recommendations to modernize the Social Security Disability Programs to help people with disabilities who are able to work and preserve the safety net for those people with disabilities who will not be able to work.
