HUD, VA to Provide Additional Housing & Support for Homeless Veterans

The U.S. Departments of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Veterans Affairs (VA) have announced that HUD will provide an additional $2.5 million to public housing agencies to supply housing and case management services for 380 homeless Veterans. This funding is part of the Obama Administration's $75 million investment to house 10,450 homeless Veterans who might otherwise be living on the streets. The permanent supportive housing assistance is provided through [HUD's Veterans Affairs Housing Program (HUD-VASH)][1].
