Home Health Care Provider Settles Disability Discrimination Lawsuit for Not Accommodating an Employee with Cancer

Johns Hopkins Home Health Care Group, Inc. has settled a [disability discrimination][1] lawsuit for having workplace policies that are against the [Americans with Disabilities Act][2]. The company did not provide [reasonable accommodations][3] to an employee with breast cancer returning to work after a short medical leave. After the employee filed a discrimination charge with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, she was harassed by the company and then fired.
