GAO Report Says Further Action Needed to Meet Federal Government Goals of Hiring People with Disabilities

Results of a U.S. General Accounting Office (GAO) study of the efforts that the U.S. Office of Personnel Management and U.S. Department of Labor have made in overseeing federal efforts to implement [Executive Order 13548][1]. The President signed the Executive Order to increase the hiring of employees with disabilities in the federal government. The report includes case studies at some agencies and GAO recommendations for action. This document is also in [text][2] format.
